If you’re looking for a luxury dining experience in Mayfair, an authentic Peruvian restaurant in London, or a premium cocktail bar with Pisco-focused drinks, Coya Mayfair is one of the city’s top destinations. Combining vibrant interiors, inventive cuisine, and a dynamic bar scene, Coya transports guests straight to the streets and culture of Peru.
Located in a historic Georgian building near Hyde Park, Coya blends luxury, culture, and gastronomy to create a dining and nightlife experience unlike any other in London.
What is Coya Mayfair?
Founded by Arjun Waney, who previously launched the acclaimed Zuma, Coya Mayfair opened to great success and won the Best Mayfair Restaurant Award from TimeOut Love London Awards. The Coya brand now spans multiple locations, including Angel Court, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi, all inspired by Waney’s travels and experiences in Peru.
Coya Mayfair is divided into three main areas:
Members’ Club (exclusive access)
Main Restaurant (open to the public)
Pisco Lounge & Bar (open to the public)
The public spaces are designed with jewel-toned interiors, vibrant murals, and Peruvian-inspired furnishings, balanced with contemporary art, dim lighting, and metallic finishes, creating an elegant yet colorful atmosphere.
Pisco Lounge & Bar: London’s Home of Pisco
The Pisco Lounge & Bar draws inspiration from the oldest bars in Lima, celebrating Peru’s national spirit. Guests can enjoy expertly crafted Pisco Sours that balance liquor, citrus, bitters, and sweetness perfectly.
For a twist, Coya offers flavoured Piscos ranging from blueberry & lavender, peach & apricot, to lemongrass & cucumber. If cocktails aren’t your choice, the bar also stocks over 40 premium tequilas, rums, and champagnes, making it a hotspot for drinks enthusiasts.
Music complements the space perfectly: resident DJs play smooth electronic tunes with Latin influences, keeping the atmosphere lively yet relaxed.
Cuisine: Peruvian Flavours with Global Influence
Head Chef Sanjay Dwivedi, formerly of Michelin-starred Zaika, The Ivy, and Le Caprice, brings a wealth of international experience to Coya. Inspired by Peruvian culinary traditions and global techniques, Dwivedi creates fusion dishes that surprise and delight.
The menu is updated seasonally but always includes classics:
Ceviche: Try the Salmon Nikkei with fresh salmon, celery juice, ginger, daikon, and wasabi tobiko
Seafood dishes: Crispy tiger prawns with aji rocoto
Meat dishes: Solomillo de Res, smoked and lightly spiced beef fillet with crispy shallots and rocoto chili
Sharing plates: Cerdo Bao with pulled pork, chipotle, and salsa criolla
Side dishes, such as Japanese aubergines with miso and sesame, elevate any main course.
Culture & Experience
Coya is more than a meal—it’s a Peruvian adventure in London. The restaurant hosts cultural events, Pisco masterclasses, art openings, and seasonal celebrations aligned with equinoxes and solstices worldwide. Guests leave with memorable experiences, not just a delicious dinner.
