Isabel’s bar has transcended into a staple of London. There is not a night of the week where the upstairs will not have buzz and excitement as people prepare to head out to late night venues. Isabels has captured the essence of what it means to be a great bar and It does not for an instant pretend to be something it isn’t. The cocktail and drinks selection is extensive yet easy to follow, and the central bar is brimmed with staff to ensure short wait times. Having a lively bar in the middle of the room means the energy seeps into its surroundings and you can feel that happen. More often than not will you catch yourself socialising with groups around you (the lack of seating makes this surprisngly easy to occur). The door tend to make it a difficult place to walk into and you can see the result of this in their top clientele. It is this clientele that makes Isabel’s what it is, Isabel’s is known for it’s lively upstairs bar and people visit to see that in action.

But Isabel’s does not stop there.

The downstairs of Isabel’s adds another string to its bow. With one of the best refurbishments in recent times the downstairs restaurant area has been transformed into a room of decadence. With black marbel and soft, warm lighting, it is a room which you can easily lose a few hours in. Coupled with the revamped menu, anyone who has not been to Isabel's in the last few months should be itching to revisit. Once the restauranteurs are packed up and shipped out at around midnight the downstairs turns into a club. The surroundings are comfortable and the space is intimate, the club will never be a top competitor to its competitors but it is a great addition to a thriving upstairs.
